I spent last week in Chicago. It was my first visit and indeed this is an amazing city. I was staying downtown Chicago on North Michigan Avenue so it's basically few steps from the Magnificent Mile. Chicago's nice. The architecture is amazing. I was on my agile training/coaching mission for a big (yet internationally distributed) company, and almost every morning walked to their office on my own. Every morning I had this terrific view of amazing buildings, and in the evenings this was all different view, full of artificial light. I even found Orthodox Church in 15 minute walk from my hotel so I could go for Sunday Liturgy. One interesting thing about Orthodox Churches all over the world - in different countries they all look different from the outside but when you enter it feels as if you entered your church in Kiev. Trans-geographic, trans-time...
Uh... and Goose Island is pretty good (local) beer. No way I would say that it's better than my favorite beer ever - Sam Adams - but it's still very good one :)
